Social Studies Teacher
I have been a teacher for over ten years and have taught English and Social Sciences for most of my academic career. I have had the joy of instructing almost every level of student, young learner through university. My favorite subjects to teach are History, Comparative Politics, and Critical Discourse. I look forward to the opportunity to teach Social Studies and English to your student at Albanian International School.
I have studied, taught, and traveled abroad for almost twenty years. I went to a small, private university in the United States to receive my Bachelor’s degree in both International Relations and Comparative Religious Studies. Then, I moved abroad to study at Webster University in the Netherlands when it came time for me to pursue a Master’s degree in International Relations. After I completed my degree, I went on to teach in several countries such as Japan, Korea, and the United States. I have experience teaching English as a Second Language at private and public elementary schools in Asia. I was also an elementary school teacher for a private school in North Carolina and have lectured International Relations theory in the Netherlands. Most recently I have worked with the Department of Education in Nebraska as part of the Statewide Assessment and Accountability team. I look forward to applying all of my experience and knowledge in my classroom to ensure the success of your student at Albanian International School.
